Sunflower (wireless)

 This sun flower is as big as the real one. I used a 3mm hook and cotton yarn. The yarn in 2 different shades makes it look more like the real thing.

The Flower (the middle part)
1) chain (ch) 4, join into a circle and slip stitch (sl st)
2) ch 3, make 11 double crochet (dc) into the circle
3) ch 1, turn (work on the back) on the same stitch, make 1 single crochet (sc), 1 triple crochet (tc), 1 sc
this is one set, repeat another 12 sets, end with a sl st to the ch 1.
4) ch1, (sc,tc,sc), sc on the next stitch, skip the bump - repeat all around
5) ch1, (sc,tc,sc), sc in next 2, skip the bump - repeat all around
6) ch1, (sc,tc,sc), sc in next 3, skip the bump - repeat all around
7) ch 3, turn (work on the front) skip the bump, ch 3 and sl st on front loop all around except for bump area
8) now do sc all around on the remaining back loop

The small petal (will have 20 petals)
1) use only the front loop, yarn over one of the stitch and chain 10, add a maker on the stitch right below the hook, turn 
2) start from 2nd chain from hook, do sl st on the next 9 stitches.
3) sl st to the next stitch on the front loop
4) ch1, turn, sc in next 2, dc in next 4, hdc, sc, sl st, sl st on the marker stitch, sl st again on the same spot, sc, hdc, dc in the next 4, sc in next 2 and sl st to the next stitch on the front loop - this is one petal

The big petal (will have 12 petals)
1) this time use the back loop, yarn over one of the back loop and ch 13, turn
2) add a marker on the stitch right below the hook
3) sl st in next 12 and joint it to the 2nd stitch next to it with a sl st
4) ch1, turn, sc, hdc, dc in next 7, hdc, sc, sl st, sl st on the marker stitch and sl st again on same spot
5) sc, hdc, dc in next 7, hdc, sc and connect to the back loop part with a sl st, make 2 more sl st before starting a new petal

The green part
1) ch3, joint in a circle with a sl st, make 6 sc into ring (total 6)
2) - 4) sc all around (total 6)
5) 6 increase (inc) (total 12)
6) [inc, sc] repeat all around (total 18)
7) [sc next 2, inc] repeat all around (total 24)
8) sc next 2, [inc, sc next 3] repeat all around, inc, sc (total 30)
9) sc, [inc, sc next 4] repeat all around, inc, sc next 3 (total 36)
10) [sc next 5, inc] repeat all around (total 42)
11) sc next 5, [inc, sc next 6] repeat all around, sc (total 48)
12) sc next 2, [inc, sc next 7] repeat all around, sc next 5 (total 54)
13) ch 3, ch 2, dc on the same space, skip 2, dc, ch 2, dc on the same space - repeat in same manner till the end of the row
14) ch 1, (work in the space) sc, dc, ch 3, sl st on the top of the dc, sc - repeat till the end

Sew the green part onto the flower, make sure to add stuffing before completely sealing it. 

The Leaf (optional)
1) ch 20, ch1, (add a marker on the stitch right below the hook, the 20th stitch)
2) sc, hdc, dc in next 11, hdc in next 2, sc in next 2, sl st, sl st at the marker stitch, sl st again same spot, work our way down
3) sc in next 2, hdc in next 2, dc in next 11, hdc, sc next 2 and work our way up
4) sc, dc, tc in next 11, dc in next 2, hdc in next 2, sc in next 4, ch 2, work our way down
5) sc in next 4, hdc in next 2, dc in next 2, tc in next 11, dc, sc 
cut yarn and if you have wire, sc the wire

Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sl st to join to the 1st st. 6) Ch 1, [ 5 double crochet (dc) in the ch3 space, 1 sc to the top of the sc in previous row) 8 times. 7) Sc all around the back loop. Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi.
