Clutch Bag - Hobeycomb Stitch

This is a clutch bag. You can add a strap if you want to and turn it into a handbag. I used a 3.5 mm hook and polypropylene yarn. I added a plastic canvas to hold it's shape and a cloth linen to cover up the plastic canvas. You can use other type of yarn too.

This is the tutorial video :

To start, make a chain in multiple of 2 and at the end, add 1 more chain. Once you have come to the length that you want, count the number of stitches that you had made, minus the additional 1 and make sure every row you maintain the same number of stitches.

The complete piece will be a rectangle and I am working on the width and work upwards to form a rectangle. So the length is for the width of the rectangular.

After the foundation chain, do a single crochet on the 2nd chain from the hook. Do it on the bump side of the chain. Continue to do single crochet for all until the end of the row.

Chain 1, turn your work and do single crochet again for all until the end of the row. Means that we will have 2 rows of single crochet.

Chain 1, turn your work and do single crochet, on the next stitch do an extended single crochet, on the next stitch, do a single crochet and continue in this manner until the end of the row. Will end with an extended single crochet.

Chain 1, turn your work and do a single crochet. The do a 2 together, that is to join one strand of yarn from the 1st extended single crochet with the 2nd extended single crochet. Next we do a single crochet. Continue in the same manner until the end and will end with a single crochet.

Chain 1, turn your work and do an extended single crochet follow by a single crochet, then an extended single crochet in the next. Continue in the same manner until the end and end with a single crochet.

Chain 1, turn your work, do a single crochet in the next 2 then do a 2 together by joining one strand of yarn from the 1st extended single crochet with the 2nd extended single crochet. Next, do a single crochet. Continue n the same manner until the end and end with a single crochet.

Repeat the above until you come to your desire length. Do a single crochet all around the edges of the rectangular piece.

Cut your plastic canvas accordingly and make sure the plastic canvas is slightly smaller than the rectangular piece. Either sew or crochet slip stich or single crochet the plastic canvas onto the rectangular piece. Sew the linen onto the bag and cover the plastic canvas. Add your desire buckle or lock and you will have a lovely clutch bag.

Hope you like the bag as much as I do. Don't forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel. Do follow me on FacebookShopeeTiktok and Instagram. Your support is high appreciated. Thank you.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. The tutorial video :   The Core Part (use yellow yarn) 1) Chain 9, do 3 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next, slip stitch (ss) until the end, which you will have 6 ss all in. Chain 9 and repeat the whole thing, all in 8 sets. 2) Chain 10, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 7 ss. Make 9 sets. 3) Chain 11, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 8 ss. Make 10 sets. 4) Chain 1, do sc on the next 27 stitches on the base. 5) Chain 1, turn the work, [sc in the next 2, do a 2 together (dec)] - 6 sets,

Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Crochet Mooncake

This is my second crochet mooncake. This pattern is different from my first crochet mooncake. I made two version. One with lace yarn and a 2 mm hook and another with cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. The lace yarn mooncake is smaller than the cotton yarn mooncake due to the size of the yarn and hook yet both are equally lovely and look quite like the real thing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake (make 2 - top piece and bottom piece) 1) Start with a magic ring. Make 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring     [total 8] 2) Make 2 sc into each stitch (inc)     [total 16] 3) (Sc, inc) - 8X only on the back loop     [total 24] - If bottom piece, no need back loop only 4) (Sc, inc, sc) - 8X     [total 37] 5) (Sc next 3, inc) - 8X  only on the back loop     [total 40] - If bottom piece, no need back loop only 6) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) - 8X     [total 48] 7) (Sc, half double crochet (hdc) next 2, 2 double crochet (dc) in the same stitch, hdc next 2, sc, slip stitch) - 6X After complete the top piece,
