Gigantic Doughnut

This doughnut is make from cotton yarn and a 4 mm hook. It is quite big, bigger than my face, so would need a lot more stuffing. It is very easy to do, even for beginners.

The tutorial video :

1) Chain 30, slip stitch to the 1st chain [total 30]

2) (single crochet (sc) in next 4, increase (2 sc in one) repeat all around [total 36]

3) (sc in next 2, inc) repeat all around [total 48]

4) (sc in next 5, inc) repeat all around [total 56]

5) - 7) sc all around [total 56]

8) (sc in next 6, inc) repeat all around [total 64]

9) (sc in next 7, inc) repeat all around [total 72]

10) - 12) sc all around [total 72]

13) (sc in next 8, inc) repeat all around [total 80]

14) ( sc in next 9, inc) repeat all around [total 88]

15) - 17) sc all around [total 88]

18) (sc in next 10, inc) repeat all around [total 96]

19) (sc in next 11, inc) repeat all around [total 104]

20) - 22) sc all around [total 104]

End with a slip stitch to the next stitch.

Do one more in another color, the same pattern as above but leave a long tail before starting. Need it to sew the middle of the doughnut. This 2nd piece will need to do drips at the end, after row 22.

Medium drip - slip stitch (ss) in next stitch, single crochet (sc) in next stitch, half double crochet (hdc)in next stitch, double crochet (dc) in next stitch, tribal crochet (tc) in next stitch, dc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, sc in next stitch, ss in next stitch

Small drip - ss in next stitch, sc in next stitch, hdc in next 2, sc in next stitch, ss in next stitch

Big drip - ss in next stitch, sc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, dc in next stitch, tc in next 2, dc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, sc in next stitch, ss in next stitch

The drip we do a medium one follow by a small one than a big one.

As for the sprinkle on the top - take any color yarn, leave an inch of tail then chain 3 and leave an inch of yarn and cut off. Use a needle to place the sprinkle just about anywhere and tie a knot at the back.

Hope you like the doughnut. It would make a lovely small pillow or a big toy for a young child. Please do subscribe to my Youtube channel and follow me on FacebookShopeeTiktok and Instagram. Thank you for your support. Truly grateful.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. The tutorial video :   The Core Part (use yellow yarn) 1) Chain 9, do 3 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next, slip stitch (ss) until the end, which you will have 6 ss all in. Chain 9 and repeat the whole thing, all in 8 sets. 2) Chain 10, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 7 ss. Make 9 sets. 3) Chain 11, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 8 ss. Make 10 sets. 4) Chain 1, do sc on the next 27 stitches on the base. 5) Chain 1, turn the work, [sc in the next 2, do a 2 together (dec)] - 6 sets,

Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Crochet Mooncake

This is my second crochet mooncake. This pattern is different from my first crochet mooncake. I made two version. One with lace yarn and a 2 mm hook and another with cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. The lace yarn mooncake is smaller than the cotton yarn mooncake due to the size of the yarn and hook yet both are equally lovely and look quite like the real thing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake (make 2 - top piece and bottom piece) 1) Start with a magic ring. Make 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring     [total 8] 2) Make 2 sc into each stitch (inc)     [total 16] 3) (Sc, inc) - 8X only on the back loop     [total 24] - If bottom piece, no need back loop only 4) (Sc, inc, sc) - 8X     [total 37] 5) (Sc next 3, inc) - 8X  only on the back loop     [total 40] - If bottom piece, no need back loop only 6) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) - 8X     [total 48] 7) (Sc, half double crochet (hdc) next 2, 2 double crochet (dc) in the same stitch, hdc next 2, sc, slip stitch) - 6X After complete the top piece,
