Mini Sunflower

 This is a mini sunflower, made specially for my amigurumi. I used 3 ply yarn and a 2 mm hook. The pattern is very easy and you can make one in no time.

The pattern is, for the core part of the flower, the brown part, start by making a magic ring and make 6 single crochet in it. Row 2, do 2 single crochet in each stitch and that's it. You can end it either by making a slip stitch to the next or just continue with the yellow yarn.

For the petal, I used yellow yarn. The pattern is chain 2, do a double crochet in the same stitch and then chain 1. The chain 1, do a slip stitch to the top of the double crochet. Do a double crochet to the next stitch. Chain 2 and slip stitch to the same stitch. This is one petal. All in will have 6 petals.

The green part (optional), start by making a magic ring and make 6 single crochet into the ring. In the next row, do 2 single crochet in each stitch. The last row, chain 2 and slip stitch to the next. Continue in this manner until the end of the row.

 This pattern is lovely on kopiah or some called it songkok or peci or cap. It is easy to crochet and you can make it in just a few hours.  Below is the tutorial video. Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Valentine Couple Cats

 This pair of cats are made using cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. You will need some stuffing and a safety nose. If you do not have any, you can sew the nose with some yarn. It stands at 11 inches tall and about 4 inches wide.
