Small Roses

Sometime we do need to make small flowers for our amigurumi or bag or baby shoes or even head band. So here I have some small roses.

The tutorial video :

The foundation chain should be in multiple of 10 and a plus 1. The smallest flower would be chain 10 + 1. For the medium size rose, you can try chain 20 + 1 and for a large rose, you can go for a chain 50 +1.

After the foundation chain, do a single crochet on the 2nd stitch from hook. Chain 2 and skip one stitch. Do a single crochet on the following stitch. So it is a sc and skip and sc and skip all the way until the end of the row.

Next row, chain 2, turn the work, do a slip stitch into the chain 2 space. Chain 1, do 4 double crochet into the same space follow by a chain 1 and slip stitch into the same space. That makes one petal.

Now slip stitch into the next chain 2 space and do a slip stitch and repeat the above to make another petal.

Hope you enjoy making roses. Don't forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel. Do follow me on my FacebookShopeeTiktok and Instagram. Your support is highly appreciated. Thank you.

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. Sponge Bob Square Bag

This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color. The pattern below, my 1) is actually the 2nd row and the color I mention is from right to left, like how we crochet. The num...
