Spider Web Doily

 Since Halloween is around the corner, lets make a Spider Web Doily. Add this to my Halloween collection. I used a white 3 ply yarn and a 2.5mm hook to make it small and fine to look more like a Spider Web. You can use any type of yarn and hook.

Spider Web Doily

1) Magic ring, 12 single crochet (sc) into ring and end with a slip stitch (sl st).

2) Chain (ch) 3, then ch 1, double crochet (dc) to the next, (ch 1, dc to the next) - repeat till the end and you will get 12 dc, and end with a sl st.

3) Ch 5, skip the space, (dc on top of the dc in the previous row, ch 2) - repeat till the end and end with a sl st.

4) Ch 6, dc on top of the dc in the previous row, ch3, (dc, ch 3) - repeat till the end and end with a sl st.

5) Ch 7, dc on top of the dc in the previous row, ch 4, (dc, ch 4) - repeat till the end and end with a sl st.

6) Ch 4, dc on the same stitch, ch 4, dc on top of the dc of the previous row, ch 1, dc in the same space, ch 4, repeat in the same manner till the end and end with a sl st.

7) Ch 5, dc on the 2nd dc of the previous row, ch 4, dc on top of the 1st dc of the previous row, ch 2, dc on top of the 2nd dc of the previous row, repeat in the same manner till the end and end with a sl st.

8) Ch 6, dc on the 2nd dc of the previous row, ch 4, dc, ch 3, dc, ch 4, repeat in the same manner till the end of the row and end with a sl st.

9) Ch 7, dc on top of the dc in the previous row, ch 4, dc, ch4, repeat in the same manner and end with a sl st.

10) Ch 3, sl st on the same space, sc next 5, ch 3, sl st in the same stitch, continue in the same manner till the end and end with a sl st and cut yarn.

Crochet Flower Bag

 This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn. I made this for a toddler, so the bag strap is short.  The tutorial video :  Flower Bag 1) Start with a magic ring, chain 2, make 15 double crochet (dc) into the ring.     2) Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) .      3) Chain 2, (dc, dc inc) - repeat until the end, cut the yarn.     4) Change color. Chain 1, (sc next 2, skip 2, 5 dc in the same stitch, skip 2, sc next 2, skip 2) - repeat until the end. End with a slip stitch. 5) Chain 1, (half double crochet (hdc) in the next, dc in the next, dc inc - 3 sets, dc, hdc) - this makes 1 petal, so now repeat until the end and you will get 6 petals. 6) Chain 1, [ hdc, dc, (dc inc, dc) - 3 sets, dc, hdc ] - repeat until the end. 7) Chain 1, [ hdc, dc, (dc inc, dc, dc inc) - 3 sets, dc, hdc ] - repeat until the end Make 2 of the abo...

Crochet Amigurumi Microphone

 This is a simple microphone, made using cotton yarn and some stuffing. Very easy to make. Takes you only about an hour to make 1, even for beginners. The tutorial video :  Microphone (use grey yarn) 1) Make a magic ring. Do 10 single crochet into the ring     [total 10] 2) - 5) Do single crochet all around     [total 10] 6) Do a decrease (2 together), 5 times     [total5] 7) - 9) Single crochet all around     [total 5] Leave a long tail to sew it to your amigurumi. Now use a black yarn and sew few lines, like above (or refer to tutorial video) to make it look like a microphone.  Hope you find this pattern interesting.
