Baby Summer Hat

This hat is made with silk cotton yarn, very soft and nice for baby. I used a 4 mm hook.

Baby Hat

1) Magic ring, chain (ch) 3, 11 double crochet (dc) into the ring and joint with a slip stitch (sl st).         [total 12 dc]

new born to 3 months old - 11 dc into ring

3 months to 6 month - 12 dc into ring

6 month to 12 month - 13 dc into ring

1 year to 2 year old - 14 dc into ring


2) Ch 3, dc inc (2 dc in the same stitch) all around and joint to the top of the ch 3 with a sl st.

3) Ch 3, ch 1, (skip 1, dc, ch1, dc in the same to create a 'V', ch 1)  - repeat all around end with sl st.

4) Single crochet (sc) into the ch 1 space, (ch2, sc into the ch 1 space) - repeat all around and end with sl st.

5) Sl st to the ch 2 space, ch 3, ch 1, dc into space and ch 1 and dc into same space, ch 1, skip 1 ch 2 space and repeat (dc, ch1, dc,ch1,dc,ch1) all around and joint with a sl st.

6) Sc into the ch 1 space, ch 3, sc into ch 1 space, ch 3 - sc only into the ch 1 space in the shell and skip the ch space between shells - repeat all around and joint with a sl st.

7) Sl st into the space, ch 3, ch 1, 2 dc into same space, ch 1, dc, skip one space and repeat (dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 1, dc) all around and joint with a sl st.

8) Sc into space, ch 3, skip 2 dc, sc ch 3, skip 2 - repeat all around and joint with a sl st.

9) Ch 3, dc, ch2, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc - all into the same space to create 1 shell, skip a space and repeat ( 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) - repeat all around and end with a sl st.

10) Repeat 8)

11) Repeat 9) 

You can repeat row 8) and 9) one or two more time depending on the size you want.

12) Sc to ch space, ch 3, sc into space, ch 3 - repeat all around and end with a sl st.

13) Do a front post on the sc and do a sc and ch 3, sc front post on the sc and ch 3 - repeat all around and joint with a sl st. 

14) Work only on the back line, do 3 dc in space, 2 dc in the next space - repeat all around and joint with a sl st.

15) Ch 3, on next dc do a dc front post, next do a dc back post - repeat all around and joint with a sl st.

16) Now we work on the 14) the front line. Ch 3, 8 dc into space, skip 1 space and next space 8 dc into space - repeat all around and joint with a sl st.

17) Ch 3, ch 1, dc back post, ch 1, dc back post - repeat all around but when come to next shell, no ch 1 and joint with a sl st

18, Ch 1, sc into space, ch 3, sc into space - repeat all around and end with a sl st.

Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Crochet Flower Bag

 This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn. I made this for a toddler, so the bag strap is short.  The tutorial video :  Flower Bag 1) Start with a magic ring, chain 2, make 15 double crochet (dc) into the ring.     2) Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) .      3) Chain 2, (dc, dc inc) - repeat until the end, cut the yarn.     4) Change color. Chain 1, (sc next 2, skip 2, 5 dc in the same stitch, skip 2, sc next 2, skip 2) - repeat until the end.
