For this headband, you will need some cotton yarn and a plain metal headband. I used a 3 mm hook but you can use a 4 mm or a 3.5 mm hook. The headband, start by making a magic ring and 5 single crochet into the ring. Then 5 single crochet all around, make several rows until it can cover the whole metal headband. I used a marker on each row to make sure I do have 5 single crochet in each row. Once it is long enough, insert the metal headband into the crochet headband, cut the yarn and use a needle to sew it shut.
As for the horns, start with a magic ring and 5 single crochet into ring. Make about 10 to 12 rows of single crochet all around, just like the above but I didn't use a marker this time and some rows I skip a stitch. This way the horn will turn out a bit crooked. Make a long horn and a shorter one and sew the shorter one to the side of the long one. Leave a long tail on the horn to sew it on the headband.
The ears, make 2 different color ear and later joint them together. For the ear, chain 5, 2nd stitch from hook, do a single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc) on the next stitch, double crochet (dc) on the next stitch, half double crochet (hdc) on the next stitch, single crochet (sc) on the next stitch. At the end chain 2 repeat the sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc on the opposite side of the foundation chain.. Do one more in a lighter color. Joint the 2 ears together by doing sc all around the edges, leaving a long tail for sewing. Make 2 ears and sew it onto the headband.
