Crochet Conifer Cone / Pine Cone

Some say that silver pine cone bring luck. Lets crochet some glittering pine cone. I found a yarn that make pine cone look quite silver and has some thin colorful glittering thread around the yarn. I used cotton yarn and some stuffing.

The tutorial video :

Crochet Pattern - every row, work only on the back loop

1) Make a magic ring and make 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring     ( total 6 )

2) 2 single crochet in the same stitch (increase) all around     ( total 12 )

3) (sc next 2, inc) 4 time     ( total 16 )

4) (sc next 2, inc) 5 time, sc     ( total 21 )

5) sc all around    ( total 21 )

6) (sc next 2, 2 together (decrease)) 5 time, sc    ( total 16 )

7) - 8) sc all around     ( total 16 )

9) (sc next 2, dec) 4 time    ( total 12 )

Time to add stuffing

10) (sc next 2, dec) until no more stitch left.

Now work on the front loop on the cone. Chain 2, do a 2 double crochet (dc) together. One dc in the chain 2 stitch, one in the next stitch then yarn over all 3 chain on hook to do a 2 together. Chain 2 and slip stitch in the same stitch. Slip stich in the next stitch and chain 2 and repeat the above till the whole cone is filled with this petal. 2 stitch make 1 petal. Once reach the top, after the last petal, chain 15 or more, depending how long you want it and slip stitch to the opposite stitch to make a chain for hanging.

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. Sponge Bob Square Bag

This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color. The pattern below, my 1) is actually the 2nd row and the color I mention is from right to left, like how we crochet. The num...
