Strawberries

This is a simple amigurumi. These strawberries are the size of the actual strawberries. I used cotton yarn and some stuffing. I used a 3 mm hook for this project and I did not add eyes and nose. You can if you want too as there are room for it. I want it to look like a fruit. You can get it done in less than an hour, even for beginners.

The tutorial video :

Strawberry (I used dark pink)

1) Do a magic ring, make 6 single crochet (sc) into ring     [total 6]

2) Do 2 sc in each stitch (inc)     [total 12]

3) (sc, inc) - 6 times     [total 18]

4) (sc next 2, inc) - 6 times     [total 24]

5) sc all around     [total 24]

6) sc next 3, do a 2 together (dec), (sc next 6, dec) - 2 times, sc next 3     [total 21]

7) (sc next 5, dec) - 3 times     [total 18]

8) sc next 2, dec, (sc next 4, dec) - 2 times, sc next 2     [total 15]

This is the time to add the eyes and nose if any.

9) (sc next 3, dec) - 3 times     [total 12]

10) sc, dec, (sc next 2, dec) - 2 times, sc      [total 9]

11) (sc, dec) - 3 times     [total 6]

Fastern off by cutting yarn and use a tapestry needle, sew on all the 6 front loop and pull tight to seal. Hide the balance tail inside the amigurumi.

The Green Part

1) Make magic ring and make 6 sc into ring     [total 6]

2) Slip stitch (sl st) in the next stitch. Then chain 4 and from the 2nd stitch from the hook do a sl st, a half double crochet (hdc) in the next stitch, and sc in the following stitch. Sl st in the next stitch. Repeat another 5 times. You should have 6 sets all in. Fastern off and leave a long tail to sew it on to the red part of the strawberry.

Sponge Bob Square Bag

This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color. The pattern below, my 1) is actually the 2nd row and the color I mention is from right to left, like how we crochet. The num...
