You can use this same pattern to make a beer earring or make it bigger, by using a bigger hook size, and turn it into a key chain. For the earring, I used fine lace yarn and a 1 mm hook. With this pattern, it turn out just the right size, for an earring. As for the key chain, I used 5 ply cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook.
The tutorial video :
Beer (brown yarn)
1) Start with a magic ring and make 7 single crochet (sc) into the ring [total 7]
2) 2 sc into each stitch (inc) [total 14]
3) (Sc, inc) - 7 times [total 21]
4) (Sc next 2, inc) - 7 times [total 28]
5) Sc all around only on the back loop [total 28]
6) - 12) Sc all around [total 28]
13) Work only on the back loop - sc all around [total 28]
14) Work only on the back loop - (sc next 2, 2 together (dec)) - 7 times [total 21]
Add stuffing now. Plum up the beer glass.
15) Work only on the back loop - (sc, dec) - 7 times [total 14]
16) Work only on the back loop - (dec) - 7 times [total 7]
Cut yarn and leave a bit to sew and seal the hole by sewing on all the front loop and pull. Hide yarn inside amigurumi.
Foam / Beer Head
Work on the balance front loop that is visible on the beer glass. Work from outer ring inwards to the center of the glass. Chain 3, slip stitch to the same stitch. Slip stitch to the next and chain 5, slip stitch to the same stitch. Slip stitch to the next, chain 2, slip stitch in the same stitch. Slip stitch to the next, chain 3, slip stitch to the same stitch. Slip stitch to the next, chain 6, slip stitch into the same stitch. Repeat until you reach the center and cover the whole top with white. Refer to video above for better understanding.
Glass handle
Chain 6 and joint it into a ring (or make a magic ring). Do 6 sc into ring. Repeat sc all around until the length that you want. No stuffing need. Flatten it and sew it to the side of the glass. Shape it around to make it look more like a glass handle.
