A Stunning Sweet Lace Flower Poncho / Summer Top

This is actually a combination of many flowers combined together to form this lovely poncho. You can also use this same method to create a table runner or a blanket throw. The written pattern below is for one flower. I connect flower to flower by the tip of the petal.

Flower Core (yellow)

1) Start by making a magic ring. Chain 1, make 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring and joint with a slip stitch.

2) Slip stitch into the next front loop. Chain 3 and make a picot (slip stitch to the same part where we slip stitch). Repeat until you have 8 picot. The last picot, chain 1, pull tight and cut yarn.

Flower Petal (white or pink or any color that you prefer)

1) Now work on the back loop. (The balance back loop from the above picot). Make a knot and chain 13 into the back loop. Start to work from the 2nd stitch from hook, do a single crochet. A half double crochet in the next stitch, double crochet in the next, treble in the next 5, half double crochet in the next, single crochet in the next and end with a slip stitch in the next back loop and repeat until you have 8 petals.

2) Now slip stitch on the edge all around the petal. When you reach the tip of each petal, chain 2 and continue. If you wish to joint the flower, at the tip of a petal, chain 1, slip stitch to another petal from another flower, chain 1 and continue to slip stitch on the balance petals.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video : Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sponge Bob Square Bag

This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic, I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character. The tutorial video : The poster that I got from the internet look like this : Abbreviation : G = green W = white R = red M = Maroon Bk = black B = blue P = pink Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.
