BTS - BT21 - Shooky

 This is another member of BT21. It's name is Shooky. It is the easiest to make. Only a body and 2 hands and feet. The hands and feet have the same crochet pattern. The tricky part is the mouth and teeth.

The Head (brown)

1) Start by making a magic ring. Make 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring     [total 8]

2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc)     [total 16]

3) (Sc, inc) X8     [total 24]

4) (Sc next 3, inc) X6     [total 30]

5) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) X6     [total 36]

6) (Sc next 5, inc) X6     [totl 42]

7) (Sc next 3, inc, sc next 3) X6     [total 48]

8) (Sc next 11, inc) X4     [total 52]

9) (Sc next 6, inc, sc next 6) X4     [total 56]

10) - 16) Sc all around     [total 56]

17) (Sc next 6, dec, sc next 6) X4     [total 52]

18) (Sc next 11, dec) X4     [total 48]

19) (Sc next 2, dec, sc next 2) X8     [total 40]

20) (Sc next 3, dec) X8     [total 32]

21) (Sc, dec, sc) X8     [total 24]

22) (Sc, dec) X8     [total 16]

23) Dec X8     [total 8]

Cut yarn and leave a bit of the tail to sew the hole shut. Sew on the front loop, all 8 front loop and pull tight. 


Hands And Feet (make 2 for the hand and 2 for the feet)

1) Start by making a magic ring. Do 6 sc into the ring     [total 6]

2) Inc X6     [total 12]

3) - 4) Sc all around     [total 12]

Leave a long tail for sewing and cut yarn.

Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sl st to join to the 1st st. 6) Ch 1, [ 5 double crochet (dc) in the ch3 space, 1 sc to the top of the sc in previous row) 8 times. 7) Sc all around the back loop. Sponge Bob Square Bag

 This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color.
