Santa Clause

 This Santa Clause is crocheted using cotton yarn, black, red and skin color, and some white fluffy yarn. I used a 3.5 mm hook. You would need stuffing too but do not need safety eyes.

Legs And Body

1) Start with black. Do a magic ring, add 5 single crochet (sc) into the ring     [total 5]

2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc)     [total 10]

3) (Sc, inc)     [total 15]

4) Sc all around, only on the back loop     [total 15]

5) Sc next 3, do a 2together (dec) in the next 5, sc next 2     [total 10]

6) Sc all around     [total 10]

7) Change to red. Sc all around, only on the back loop     [total 10]

8) - 10) Sc all around     [total 10]

Now add white fluffy yarn to row 7, on the front loop, do sc all around with fluffy yarn. Joint 2 legs.

11) (Sc next 3, inc) - 5X     [total 25]

12) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) - 5X     [total 30]

13) (Sc next 5, inc) - 5X     [total 35]

14) (Sc next 3, inc, sc next 3) - 5X     [total 40]

15) Sc all around, only on the back loop     [total 40]

16) - 17) Sc all around     [total 40]

Now do sc all around with the white fluffy yarn on the front loop of row 15.

18) (Sc next 3, dec, sc next 3) - 5X     [total 35]

19) (Sc next 5, dec) - 5X     [total 30]

20) (Sc next 2, dec, sc next 2) - 5X     [total 25]

21) (Sc next 3, dec) - 5X     [total 20]

22) (Sc next 2, dec) - 5X     [total 15]


Hands

1) Start with skin color. Do a magic ring and make 4 sc into ring.     [total 4]

2) Inc all around     [total 8]

3) Sc all around     [total 8]

4) Change to red. Sc all around only on the back loop     [total 8]

5) Sc all around     [total 8]

Now sc all around the front loop of row 4 with white fluffy yarn 

6) Sc next 6, dec      [total 7]

7) Sc all around     [total 7]

8) Sc next 5, dec     [total 6]

9) Sc all around     [total 6]

Leave a long tail for sewing and cut yarn. Make 2 hands.


Head

1) Use skin color. Make a magic ring and make 8 sc into ring     [total 8]

2) Inc all around     [total 16]

3) (Sc, inc) - 8X     [total 24]

4) (Sc next 2, inc) - 8X     [total 32]

5) Sc all around     [total 32]

6) (Sc next 3, inc) - 8X     [total 40]

7) - 8) Sc all around     [total 40]

9) (Sc next 4, inc) - 8X     [total 48]

10) - 11) Sc all around     [total 48]

12) (Sc next 5, inc) - 8X     [total 56]

White Ball (Pom Pom)

Make a magic circle and make 5 to 8 sc into ring. Up to you how big you want the ball to be. Leave a tail, cut yarn and tie a knot with the magic ring tail.


Hat

1) Make a magic ring and do 6 sc into the ring     [total 6]

2) - 3) Sc all around     [total 6]

Pull the tail of the white ball to the inside of the tip of the hat and tie a knot

4) Inc all around     [total 12]

5) - 6) Sc all around     [total 12]

7) (Sc, inc) - 6X     [total 18]

8) - 9) Sc all around     [total 18]

10) (Sc next 2, inc) - 6X      [total 24]

11) - 12) Sc all around     [total 24]

Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sponge Bob Square Bag

 This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color.
