Turn Fire Work Motif Into A Table Runner

 I used lace yarn and a 2mm hook to make this motif, and later combined it to make a table runner.

Motif Pattern

1) Chain 6, joint to the 1st stitch with a slip stitch.

2) Single crochet (sc) to the center of the ring. ( Chain 5 and sc into the ring) - 8X. Slip stitch to the 1st stitch.

3) Chain 7, sc in the chain 5 space. ( Chain 5 and sc to the next chain 5 space) - repeat all around.

4) Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 7 space and sc in the next stitch (the top of the previous sc). ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space and sc in the next stitch) - repeat all around.

5) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 2) - repeat all around.

6) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 3) - repeat all around.

7) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 4) - repeat all around.

8) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 5) - repeat all around.

9) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 6) - repeat all around.

10) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 7) - repeat all around.

11) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 8) - repeat all around.

12) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 9) - repeat all around.

13) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 10) - repeat all around.

14) ( Chain 5, 2 sc in the chain 5 space, sc next 11) - repeat all around.

15) (Chain 6, sc in the chain 5 space, chain 6, sc to the 2nd stich onwards. Sc next 11) - repeat all around.

16)  ( Chain 4, double crochet (dc) in the chain 6 space. Chain 4, dc in the next chain 6 space. Chain 4, start from the 2nd stitch, sc next 9) - repeat all around.

17) (Chain 4, dc in the chain 4 space) - 4 sets. Start from 2nd stitch, sc next 7. Repeat the whole thing all around.

18) (Chain 4, dc in the chain 4 space) - 5 sets. Start from the 2nd stitch, sc next 5. Repeat the whole thing all around.

19) (Chain 4, dc in the chain 4 space) - 6 sets. Start from the 2nd stitch, sc next 3. Repeat the whole thing all around.

20) 4 sc in the next chain 4 space. 2 sc into the next chain 4 space and chain 4, sc into the same chain 4 space. Do the same in the next 3 chain 4 space. The last chain 4 space do 4 sc in the same chain 4 space. 

This makes 1 motif. Do a few more and joint them together and you will get a table runner. Hope you like this motif as much as I do. Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sponge Bob Square Bag

 This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color.
