"P" For Prada

This is a post about how to crochet the letter 'P' as in Prada. If you want to make it look like the real thing, use black lace yarn and a 2 mm hook.

The letter "P"

1) Start with a foundation chain of 15 stitches. Slip stitch to the 11th stitch from hook. 

2) Turn the work and slip stitch on the next stitch (the one that forms the loop for the letter 'p')

3) Into the loop, do 2 single crochet follow by 5 half double crochet and 2 single crochet. Slip stitch to the next stitch. Chain 2 and single crochet to the same stitch.  

4) Now do single crochet in the next 7 stitch and you get a letter 'p'.

Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Valentine Couple Cats

 This pair of cats are made using cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. You will need some stuffing and a safety nose. If you do not have any, you can sew the nose with some yarn. It stands at 11 inches tall and about 4 inches wide.
