Happy Kitten On Swing

 This happy kitten is made using cotton yarn, 5 ply multicolor cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook.

Paws

1) Start with a magic ring / circle. Do 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring     [total 8]

2) - 5) Sc all around      [total 8]

Leave a long tail for sewing


Ears

1) Start with a magic ring / circle. Do 4 sc into the ring.     [total 4]

2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc)     [total 8]

3) (Sc, inc) - 4X     [total 12]

4) Sc all around     [total 12]

Leave a long tail for sewing.


Tail

1) Start with a magic ring / circle. Do 5 sc into the ring     [total 5]

2) - 7) Sc all around     [total 5]

Leave a long tail for sewing.


Head

1) Start with a magic ring / circle. Do 6 sc into the ring     [total 6]

2) Inc - 6X     [total 12]

3) (Sc, inc) - 6X     [total 18]

4) ( Sc next 2, inc) - 6X    [total 24]

5) (Sc next 3, inc) - 6X     [total 30]

6) - 8) Sc all around     [total 30]

9) (Sc next 3, do 2 together (dec)) - 6X     [total 24]

10) (Sc next 2, dec) - 6X     [total 18]

11) (Sc, dec) - 6X     [total 12]

12) Dec - 6X     [total 6]

Use a tapestry needle and sew it shut. Refer to tutorial video.


Body

1) Start with a magic ring / circle. Do 5 sc into the ring.     [total 5]

2) Inc - 5X     [total 10]

3) (Sc, inc) - 5X     [total 15]

4) ( Sc next 2, inc) - 5X     [total 20]

5) (Sc next 3, inc) - 5X     [total 25]

6) - 10) Sc all around     [total 25]

11) (Sc next 3, dec) - 5X     [total 20]

12) (Sc next 2, dec) - 5X     [total 15]

 13) (Sc, dec) - 5X     [total 10]

14) Dec - 5X     [total 5]

Use tapestry needle to sew it shut.


Swing Board And Chain

1) Chain 10. Do half double crochet (hdc) until the end of the row.

2) Chain 1, turn the work and do one more row of hdc.

Do 2 of this board and sew them together. I add a small piece of cardboard in between before I sew.

Then do a chain, up to the length that you want and sew it to the side of the board to make it into a swing.

Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Valentine Couple Cats

 This pair of cats are made using cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. You will need some stuffing and a safety nose. If you do not have any, you can sew the nose with some yarn. It stands at 11 inches tall and about 4 inches wide.
