String Of Heart Shape Leaf

These are heart shape leaf, crochet in a string or row. You can turn it into a curtain holder, hairband or even a wristband.

Leaf Pattern

Start with a chain 5. Do 2 double crochet cluster onto the 1st stitch. Chain 2. Do 6 incomplete double crochet on the right double crochet of the earlier double crochet cluster. Now you have 7 yarn on your hook, put thru 1, then put thru 2 by 2 until you have 2 more yarn on the hook. Remove the hook and turn the work around and insert the hook. (Refer to the tutorial video for better understanding)

Now do the same to the left double crochet from the earlier double crochet cluster. Chain 2 and slip stitch to the back, to the chain 2 space. (Refer to video) This complete 1 leaf.

Now to build the next leaf, chain 5 and do 2 double crochet cluster on the chain 5 space and repeat the above to form the 2nd leaf. You can go on and on until you come to the length that you want.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. The tutorial video : The Core Part (use yellow yarn) 1) Chain 9, do 3 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next, slip stitch (ss) until the end, which you will have 6 ss all in. Chain 9 and repeat the whole thing, all in 8 sets. 2) Chain 10, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 7 ss. Make 9 sets. 3) Chain 11, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 8 ss. Make 10 sets. 4) Chain 1, do sc on the next 27 stitches on the base. 5) Chain 1, turn the work, [sc in the next 2, do a 2 together (dec)] - 6 sets,

Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make. The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail. Crochet Mooncake

This is my second crochet mooncake. This pattern is different from my first crochet mooncake. I made two version. One with lace yarn and a 2 mm hook and another with cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. The lace yarn mooncake is smaller than the cotton yarn mooncake due to the size of the yarn and hook yet both are equally lovely and look quite like the real thing.
