Sunflower Leaf

 This is a simple sunflower leaf pattern in 3 sizes. I used cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook.

Big Leaf Pattern

1) Chain 16, start from the 2nd stitch from the hook, do single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc) in the next, double crochet (dc) in the next 7, hdc in the next 3, sc in the next 2, (sc, chain 1 and sc again) all in the same stitch. Add a marker on the chain 1. Sc next 2, hdc next 3, dc next 7, hdc, sc next 2. Add a marker.

2) (Sc, hdc) in the same stitch, dc increase (inc) next 3, dc next 1, dc inc next 1, dc next 3, hdc next 3, sc next 2 (sc, ch 1, sc) - in marker stitch. Sc next 2, hdc next 3, dc next 3, dc inc next 1, dc next 1, dc inc next 3, (hdc, sc) - in the same stitch. 

3) (Sc next 2, chain 2, sc next 2) - repeat all around the edge of the leaf.


Medium Leaf Pattern

1) Chain 14, start from the 2nd stitch from the hook, do sc, hdc in the next, dc in the next 5, hdc in the next 3, sc in the next 2, (sc, chain 1 and sc again) all in the same stitch. Add a marker on the chain 1. Sc next 2, hdc next 3, dc next 5, hdc, sc next 2. Add a marker.

2) (Sc, hdc) in the same stitch, dc increase (inc) next 2, dc next 1, dc inc next 1, dc next 2, hdc next 3, sc next 2 (sc, ch 1, sc) - in marker stitch. Sc next 2, hdc next 3, dc next 2, dc inc next 1, dc next 1, dc inc next 2, (hdc, sc) - in the same stitch. 

3) (Sc next 2, chain 2, sc next 2) - repeat all around the edge of the leaf.


Small Leaf Pattern

1) Chain 12, start from the 2nd stitch from the hook, do sc, hdc in the next, dc in the next 3, hdc in the next 3, sc in the next 2, (sc, chain 1 and sc again) all in the same stitch. Add a marker on the chain 1. Sc next 2, hdc next 3, dc next 3, hdc, sc next 2. Add a marker.

2) (Sc, hdc) in the same stitch, dc inc next 1, dc next 1, dc inc next 1, dc next 1, hdc next 3, sc next 2 (sc, ch 1, sc) - in marker stitch. Sc next 2, hdc next 3, dc next 1, dc inc next 1, dc next 1, dc inc next 2, (hdc, sc) - in the same stitch. 

3) (Sc next 2, chain 2, sc next 2) - repeat all around the edge of the leaf.

Special Kopiah / Songkok / Peci / Cap

 This pattern is lovely on kopiah or some called it songkok or peci or cap. It is easy to crochet and you can make it in just a few hours.  Below is the tutorial video. Kopiah  1) make a magic ring, chain 2, 12 double crochet (dc) in magic ring and seal it with a slip stitch (sl st). 2) chain (ch) 2, 2 dc in each, sl st (total 24 stitches) 3) ch 2, (2dc, dc) repeat till the end, sl st (total 36 stitches) 4) ch 2, (2dc, dc in next 2) repaet till the end, sl st (total 48 stitches) 5) ch 2, (2dc, dc in next 3) repeat till the end, sl st (total 60 stitches) 6) ch 2, (2dc dc in next 4) repeat till the end, sl st (total 72 stitces) Repeat in the same manner until you get the size you want.  The pattern. 1) ch 2, dc all around for 2 rows 2) sc all around for 1 row 3) ch 2, dc all around for 1 row 4) tripple crochet front post on the sc row, 2nd from the right 5) again tripple crochet but 3 stitch away from the first 6) connect to the top row with single crochet to the next ...

Crochet Flower Bag

 This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn. I made this for a toddler, so the bag strap is short.  The tutorial video :  Flower Bag 1) Start with a magic ring, chain 2, make 15 double crochet (dc) into the ring.     2) Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) .      3) Chain 2, (dc, dc inc) - repeat until the end, cut the yarn.     4) Change color. Chain 1, (sc next 2, skip 2, 5 dc in the same stitch, skip 2, sc next 2, skip 2) - repeat until the end.
