Heart Shape, Crochet

 These are heart shape made using 8 ply cotton yarn and a 4 mm hook.

Heart Shape Pattern

1) Start with a magic ring. Chain 2. Do 12 double crochet (dc) into the ring. Slip stitch on top of the chain 2. 

2) Skip 1 stitch. Do 8 treble crochet (tc) in the next stitch,

3) Do dc in the next stitch. Do dc and half double crochet (hdc) in the next same stitch. Do 2 hdc in the next same stitch. Do hdc and dc in the next same stitch.

4) Chain 1. Do dc and hdc in the next same stitch. Do 2 hdc in the next same stitch. Do hdc and dc in the next same stitch.

5) Do dc in the next stitch. Do 8 tc in the next stitch. Skip 1 stitch and slip stitch to the 1st stitch.

 This pattern is lovely on kopiah or some called it songkok or peci or cap. It is easy to crochet and you can make it in just a few hours.  Below is the tutorial video. Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Crochet Flower Bag

 This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn. I made this for a toddler, so the bag strap is short.  The tutorial video :  Flower Bag 1) Start with a magic ring, chain 2, make 15 double crochet (dc) into the ring.     2) Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) .      3) Chain 2, (dc, dc inc) - repeat until the end, cut the yarn.     4) Change color. Chain 1, (sc next 2, skip 2, 5 dc in the same stitch, skip 2, sc next 2, skip 2) - repeat until the end.
