This is the 2nd Minion pouch. The first pouch is in the earlier post. Those who wish to learn or practice tapestry crochet, give this a try. It is a small pouch and the Minion pattern is simple. I used 5 ply cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook.
The tutorial video :
Pouch Pattern
1) Start with a magic ring, do 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring [total 8]
2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc) [total 16]
3) (Sc, inc) - 8X [total 24]
4) (Sc, inc, sc) - 8X [total 32]
5) (Inc, sc next 3) - 8X [total 40]
6) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) - 8X [total 48]
7) - 9) Sc all around [total 48]
This complete the base of the pouch.

After the Minion tapestry, do 5 rows of sc all around. The next row, do 2 sc, chain 2, skip 2 and do 2 sc into the next 2 stitch, repeat until the end of the row. The next row, do sc all around (do 2 sc into the space 2 area). The last row I did 2 double crochet in each stitch.
The draw string, I did 2 rows of single crochet. (Refer to the tutorial video). This is optional, you can use any other string or even a ribbon as draw string.
Do refer to the tutorial video for better understanding. The tutorial video is easy to follow, even for beginners. Give it a try.
