Grey & White Bunny Series # 4 - Bunny In Pot

This bunny has a string of tiny leaves and flowers. Did it with cotton yarn and some safety eyes and nose and also some stuffing.

Bunny Head / Body

1) Start with a magic ring. Do 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring [total 6]

2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc) [total 12]

3) (Sc, inc) - 6X [total 18]

4) (Sc next 2, inc) - 6X [total 24]

5) (Sc next 3, inc) - 6X [total 30]

6) - 12) Sc all around [total 30]

13) (Sc next 3, 2together (dec)) - 6X [total 24]

14) (Sc next 2, dec) - 6X [total 18]

I prefer to sew the ears, flowers, leaf, add safety eyes and nose before I add stuffing

15) (Sc, dec) - 6X [total 12]

16) (Sc next 2, dec) - 6X [total 9]

Ear

1) Start with a magic circle. Do 6 sc into the ring [total 6]

2) Sc all around [total 6]

3) (Sc, inc) - 3X [total 9]

4) Sc all around [total 9]

5) (Sc, dec) - 3X [total 6]

6) Sc all around [total 6]

Leave some tail for sewing before cutting the yarn.

Tiny Flower

Start with a magic ring. Chain 3, do a slip stitch into the ring. This makes 1 petal. Now do 4 more and pull the magic ring to seal the hole. It will form a tiny flower.

Tiny Leaf

Chain 3, do half double crochet to the 1st stitch and do a single crochet into that same stitch. This makes 1 tiny leaf. Now to make a chain of tiny leaf, continue from the 1st leaf, chain 8, go to the 3rd stitch from the hook and do a half double crochet and also a single crochet. This form the 2nd leaf. Continue until you come to the length that you want.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. Mooncake

Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video : Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sponge Bob Square Bag

This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic, I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character. The tutorial video : The poster that I got from the internet look like this : Abbreviation : G = green W = white R = red M = Maroon Bk = black B = blue P = pink Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above. I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet.
