[Tapestry Crochet] Disney Pouch Series

Pouch Pattern

1) Start with a magic ring. Do 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring     [total 6]

2) Do 2 sc in a stitch (inc) - 6X     [total 12]

3) (Sc, inc) - 6X     [total 18]

4) (Sc, inc, sc) - 6X     [total 24]

5) (Sc next 3, inc) - 6X     [total 30]

6) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) - 6X     [total 36]

Then do sc all around to the height that you want. The following row do sc in the next 2, chain 2, skip 2 and do sc in the next 2. Repeat until the end of the row. The next row, do sc all around, do 2 sc in the chain 2 space. The following row do sc all around.

Peony Flower

 This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sl st to join to the 1st st. 6) Ch 1, [ 5 double crochet (dc) in the ch3 space, 1 sc to the top of the sc in previous row) 8 times. 7) Sc all around the back loop. All in 48 sc. 8) - 11) Sc all around. 48 sc in each row. Cut yarn. Sponge Bob Square Bag

 This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color.
