Trishaw And Passenger Series # 4 - Lemon On Trishaw

 This post is about the lemon. The trishaw written pattern is in the earlier post. This is a simple lemon. The pattern is easy, even for beginners. 


The tutorial video : 



Lemon Pattern

1) Make a magic ring. Do 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring.      [total 6]

2) Sc all around      [total 6]

3) (Sc, inc) - 3X      [total 9]

4) (Sc next 2, inc) - 3X      [total 12]

5) Inc all around      [total 24]

6) (Sc next 3, inc) - 6X      [total 30]

7) - 14) Sc all around       [total 30]

Add safety eyes or nose and sew a mouth. You can choose either to do it horizontally or vertically.

15) (Sc next 3, dec) - 6X      [total 24]

16) 2together (dec) - 12X      [total 12]

Add stuffing

17) (Sc next 12, dec) - 3X      [total 9]

18) (Sc, dec) - 3X      [total 6]

Leave a bit of tail and cut yarn. Use a needle and sew on all the 6 front loop and pull to seal the hole. 


Hands

Chain 7. Do half double crochet on the 2nd stitch from hook. Do slip stitch on the rest of the stitch until the end of the row. Sew or tie it to the body, using the 2 tail.


Legs

Chain 9. Do half double crochet on the 2nd stitch from hook. Do slip stitch on the rest of the stitch until the end of the row. Sew or tie it to the body, using the 2 tail.

Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sponge Bob Square Bag

 This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color.
