Daisy Bag, Crochet

This is a daisy bag made with cotton yarn. The daisy pattern is in the earlier post. Do check it out. This  post is all about the bag. A simple bag with linen inside and a zip. I used 8 ply cotton yarn and a 4 mm hook. The tutorial video :  Bag Pattern 1) Make a foundation chain of your choice of length. Start from the 2nd stitch from hook, do half double crochet until the end of the row. Then chain 1, turn the work, and do half double crochet until the end of the row. Repeat the same until you create a rectangle, with the length and width of your choice. 2) Once you come to the size of bag base that you want, do single crochet all around the rectangle. Continue to do single crochet all around until you come to the height of the bag, that you want.  3) Sew the flowers and leaf on the bag, one by one, before adding the bag linen and zip. 4) Sew a linen that fits your bag and sew it inside the bag. 5) I make 2 rows of single crochet and sew it to the zip. Small Daisy Pattern 1) Start with the core (yellow), make a magic ring and do

Crochet Cap

This is a simple cap crochet using 5 ply cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook.  The tutorial video :   Cap Pattern Start with a magic ring. Do a single crochet (sc) in the ring, chain 1, put hook thru the previous sc and make a sc on top of it. (Refer to video). This replace the normal chain 3 that we do to start a round of double crochet (dc). I will call this a 'special dc' or sdc. Do this at the start of every row from now on unless that row is just sc all around. It counts as a dc.  1) In the magic ring, do 12 dc     [total 12] 2) Do 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) - 12X     [total 24] 3) (Dc, inc) - 12X     [total 36] 4) (Dc next 2, inc) - 12X     [total 48] 5) (Dc next 3, inc) - 12X     [total 60] 6) (Dc next 2, inc, dc next 2) - 12X     [total 72] 7) (Dc next 5, inc) - 12X     [total 84] Depending on the type of yarn and hook size, you might stop at a few rows earlier or do a few more rows base on the increase pattern above. First you have to measure the circumference of the head
