Auntie Nat's Crochet (Free Crochet Pattern)

  This post is about the napa cabbage. The trishaw written pattern is in the earlier post. This is a simple lemon. Chain 11. Start from the 3rd stitch from the hook. Do double crochet in the next 2 stitches, half double crochet in the next 2 stitches, single crochet in the next 3 stitches.  This is a simple peanut with eyes, hands and legs. I used cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. Will also need a pair of safety eyes and some stuffing. This post is about the peanut.  This is a crochet trishaw / rickshaw. I used cotton yarn, wire, cardboard and keychain ring.  The tutorial video :  Wheel Depending on what size of keychain ring you get. Mine, I did 20 single crochet around the ring (refer to tutorial video) to form the wheel. Leave a tail and use a tapestry needle and sew across the wheel to create those lines like a wheel. Seat 1) Chain 11. Do half double crochet starting from the 2nd stitch on, till the end of the row. Chain 1, turn the work and do half double crochet util the end of the row. All in I did 3 rows. Make 2 piece of it. Sew both of it together with a piece of cardboard in between. 2) Make another 2 piece, but this time, with 5 rows of half double crochet. Same as above, sew both together with a piece of cardboard in between. 3) Chain 7, start from 2nd stitch from the hook, do half double crochet until the end of the row. Do 2 rows of it. Do 2 pieces, sew it together with a cardboard in between. Do 2 sets.  4) Sew 1)...

 This caterpillar comes with a hat. It is a simple pattern and all you need is some cotton yarn, safety eyes, stuffing and wire. I add wire in the body so that it could bend. I used 5 ply cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. The tutorial video :  Caterpillar Pattern 1) Chain 7. Do half double crochet from the 2nd stitch from hook onwards, until the end of the row.  2) Chain 1, turn the work. Do slip stitch until the end of the row. One row of half double crochet follow by one row of slip stitch makes 1 set. Now make 9 sets. 3) At the end of the 9th set, chain 1, turn the work. Do 2 half double crochet on the 1st stitch. Do half double crochet in the next 4 stitch. Do 2 half double crochet in the last stitch. This is where the head is joint to the body. 4) Get another color for the legs. Do 1 leg in each section of the body (1 set is 1 section). Do on both sides of the body. Crochet a knot on the 1st section of the body, chain 5, slip stitch down to the body. Move to the next se...
