Handbag

1) Chain 65. Work on the bump side, (ss, sc ,hdc, dc next 2, hdc, sc, ss) - this makes 1 wave. All in there are 8 sets of wave in this first row.

2) From here on, work on the back loop only. Turn work and ss till the end of the row.

3) Turn work, ss next 4, start to build waves. All in 7 sets of wave. Skip the last 4 stitches.

4) Turn work, ss until the end but leave the last 4 stitch.

5) Turn work, ss next 4, start to build waves. All in 6 sets of wave, Skip the last 4 stitches.

Continue in this same manner until row 10), where you will have 4 sets of waves.

11) Turn work. (Chain 2, hdc, sc, ss) - this creates half a wave, now build 3 sets of waves and a half wave.

12) Turn work, ss till the end.

13) Turn work, build 4 sets of waves. 

14) Turn work, ss till the end,

15) Repeat 11), 12), 13), 14), 11)

20) Chain 5, turn work. ss 4, build 5 waves. At the end of the row, chain 5.

21) Turn work, build waves, all in 5 sets. End of the row add a chain 5

22) Continue in this manner until you have a row of 8 waves. 

Joint the sides of the bag and the top too and you will have a lovely handbag.

1) Magic ring. 6 sc into the ring     [total 6]

2) Now on, all in loop stitch (ls). (Ls, ls inc) - 3X     [total 9]

3) (Ls next 2, ls inc) - 3X     [total 12]

4) (Ls next 3, ls inc) - 3X     [total 15]

5) (Ls next 4, ls inc) - 3X     [total 18]

6) (Ls next 2, ls inc) - 6X     [total 24]

7) (Ls next 3, ls inc) - 6X     [total 30]

8) (Ls next 4, ls inc) - 6X     [total 36]

9) (Ls next 8, ls inc) - 4X     [total 40]

10) No more loop stitch. Ss to the 1st stitch, chain 5, ss, sc next 3, skip 1, ss to the next. Repeat till the end of the row.

11) Ss to the skip stitch of the earlier row, chain 8, ss next 2, sc, hdc next 4, ss to the next skip stitch.

Add wire. Sew it to the flower and add stuffing.


Ginger Flower

12) Ss, chain 9, ss next 8, jump to the opposite, sc next 6, ss next 2, ss on the tip and chain 1, ss next 2, sc next 6 - this makes 1 petal. Repeat until the end.

13) Ss, chain 11, ss, sc next 9, jumpt to the opposite side, sc, hdc next 6, sc, ss next 2, ss on the tip and chain 1, ss next 2, sc, hdc next 6 - this makes 1 petal. Repeat until the end.

Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Crochet Amigurumi Microphone

 This is a simple microphone, made using cotton yarn and some stuffing. Very easy to make. Takes you only about an hour to make 1, even for beginners. The tutorial video :  Microphone (use grey yarn) 1) Make a magic ring. Do 10 single crochet into the ring     [total 10] 2) - 5) Do single crochet all around     [total 10] 6) Do a decrease (2 together), 5 times     [total5] 7) - 9) Single crochet all around     [total 5] Leave a long tail to sew it to your amigurumi. Now use a black yarn and sew few lines, like above (or refer to tutorial video) to make it look like a microphone.  Hope you find this pattern interesting.
