1) Chain 8, ss to 1st stitch

2) Chain 3, 3 dc into the ring, (chain 7, 4 dc into the ring) - repeat until you have 4 petal, ss to the 1st stitch. Cut yarn

3) With a new color, in the chain 7 space, chain 3, 11 dc in that space area. Go straight to the next chain 7 space and make 12 dc. Repeat until the end. Cut yarn

4) With another color, sc all around, ss to the 1st stitch and cut yarn

This complete 1 granny square. Now make 5 of it to form a flower.

Flower Granny Square

1) Magic ring. 8 sc into the ring, ss to the 1st stitch

2) Chain 5, dc, (chain 2, dc) - 7X. All in 8 sets 

3) Work in the chain 2 space. (Sc, hdc, 3dc, hdc, sc) - repeat until the end. All in 8 petals.

4) Chain 1, hdc back post on the dc in 2), chain 4. Repeat until the end.

5) Work in the chain 4 space. (Sc, hdc, 5 dc, hdc, sc) - repeat until the end.

6) Chain 1, hdc back post on the same dc in 2). chain 5. Repeat until the end.

7) Work in the chain 5 space. (Sc, hdc, 2 dc, 3 tr, 2 dc, hdc, sc) - repeat until the end.

Green Leaf And The Edges

1) Start in the middle of a petal, the 6th stitch. Sc, chain 5. Jump to the middle of the next petal and do a 3 incomplete tr in the same stitch. Chain 4, do another 3 incomplete tr in the same stitch. Chain 4, do another 3 incomplete tr in the same stitch. All in there are 3 leaves. 

Chain 5, sc to the middle of the next petal, chain 5 and jump to the middle of the next petal and do 1) 

the leaf. Repeat in the same manner until you have 4 sets of leaves.

2) Sc all around : In all the chain 5 space, do 6 sc and 4 sc in the chain 4 space.

3) Dc all around, chain 3 in the corner (the middle leaf part)

4) Sc all around, do 3 sc in the chain 3 space.

5) Sc all around, sc increase at the 4 corners.

Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sl st to join to the 1st st. 6) Ch 1, [ 5 double crochet (dc) in the ch3 space, 1 sc to the top of the sc in previous row) 8 times. 7) Sc all around the back loop. All in 48 sc. 8) - 11) Sc all around. 48 sc in each row. Cut yarn.
