Crossbody Bag - with t-shirt yarn

Crossbody bag, the pattern is lovely. Always reminds me of 'Batik'. It is super easy to make and you can complete it in no time, unless of course if you are a beginner. This is also beginner friendly. My video will guide you step-by-step all the way until you get a lovely bag. 





This is the tutorial video that I made :



You would need t-shirt yarn and a 8 mm hook. We start by leaving about 1.5 meter of yarn tail for sewing later. Make a knot and chain 23. We are going to make a decrease (2 together) at one end and an increase (2 single crochet in one) in the other end. 

After the chain 23 we will start by making an increase on the 2nd chain from hook. Follow by 19 single crochet (sc). At the end of that row we will make a 2 together on the remaining last 2 chain. After that we chain 1, turn, skip one and do a decrease (2 together). Continue to sc in the next 19 stitches and at the end we do an increase (2 sc in 1).

Chain 1, turn, skip one, do an increase follow by sc in the next 19 stitches. Just remember that when you are at the increase end, we end the row with an increase and also start with an increase in the following row. Same goes for the decrease end.

 This pattern is lovely on kopiah or some called it songkok or peci or cap. It is easy to crochet and you can make it in just a few hours.  Below is the tutorial video. Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Valentine Couple Cats

 This pair of cats are made using cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. You will need some stuffing and a safety nose. If you do not have any, you can sew the nose with some yarn. It stands at 11 inches tall and about 4 inches wide.
