Tiny Lantern

 

 

These tiny lantern are made with cotton yarn and 3mm hook. Tiny enough for my amigurumi to hold. 

1) Make a magic ring and make 6 single crochet into the ring and slip stitch to the first stitch.

2) (1 single crochet, 1 increase {2 single crochet in 1 stitch}) repeat 3 sets and slip stitch to the 1st.

3) Chain 2, double crochet on every single back loop and end with a slip stitch.

4) Chain 2, double crochet on each stitch and slip stitch to the 1st and cut yarn.

5) cut some yarn to about 1 inch long and tie it at the bottom of the lantern.

Crochet Flower Bag

 This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn. I made this for a toddler, so the bag strap is short.  The tutorial video :  Flower Bag 1) Start with a magic ring, chain 2, make 15 double crochet (dc) into the ring.     2) Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) .      3) Chain 2, (dc, dc inc) - repeat until the end, cut the yarn.     4) Change color. Chain 1, (sc next 2, skip 2, 5 dc in the same stitch, skip 2, sc next 2, skip 2) - repeat until the end. Crochet Mooncake

This is my second crochet mooncake. This pattern is different from my first crochet mooncake. I made two version. One with lace yarn and a 2 mm hook and another with cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. The lace yarn mooncake is smaller than the cotton yarn mooncake due to the size of the yarn and hook yet both are equally lovely and look quite like the real thing.
