Spider Web

 I used a 2mm hook and a thinner yarn, like 3 ply yarn to make this spider web. Cotton yarn will do. 



The tutorial video : 



Spider Web

1) Chain (ch) 4, slip stitch (sl st) on the 1st chain.

2) Make 8 single crochet (sc) into the middle of the ring, join with a sl st.

3) Ch 2, then ch 1, do a double crochet (dc) to the next, (ch 1, dc) repeat all around [total 8 dc]. Joint to the ch 2 with a sl st.

4) Ch 3, then ch 5, skip 1, triple crochet (tc) to the next, (ch 5, skip, tc) repeat all around 

5) Ch 5, then ch 9, ( wrap around the hook 4X before put thru 2 by 2, then ch 9) repeat all around

6) Ch 7, then ch 13, (wrap around the hook 6X before put thru 2 by2, then ch 13) repeat all around

7) Tie a knot, ch 5 then cut off yarn.  Do a ch 5 in each corner and cut yarn.

Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Valentine Couple Cats

 This pair of cats are made using cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. You will need some stuffing and a safety nose. If you do not have any, you can sew the nose with some yarn. It stands at 11 inches tall and about 4 inches wide.
