Crochet T-Shirt Yarn Bag With Simple Tapestry Pattern

This is a simple bag with a simple tapestry pattern. You can create one simple pattern on your own on a piece of paper too. This particular bag I used a bag base and t-shirt yarn.

The tutorial video :

First I crochet the t-shirt yarn onto the bag base with a smaller hook. One that can go thru the hole on the base board. After one round of single crochet around the bag base, for the 2nd row, use a 8 mm hook. I used 2 color yarn, one blue t-shirt yarn and one multicolor t-shirt yarn.

The whole bag I used waistcoat single crochet where I place the hook into the 'v' shape. Check out the tutorial video for better understanding. The tapestry pattern is just some simple pattern I created myself. You can refer to the video to view the pattern.

As for the bag strap, I made 3 bag cord and braid it and sew it to the side of the bag. Bag cord tutorial video below :

Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make. The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail. Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. The tutorial video : The Core Part (use yellow yarn) 1) Chain 9, do 3 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next, slip stitch (ss) until the end, which you will have 6 ss all in. Chain 9 and repeat the whole thing, all in 8 sets. 2) Chain 10, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 7 ss. Mooncake

Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video : Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st).
