Crochet T-Shirt Yarn Bag With Simple Tapestry Pattern

This is a simple bag with a simple tapestry pattern. You can create one simple pattern on your own on a piece of paper too. This particular bag I used a bag base and t-shirt yarn.

The tutorial video :

First I crochet the t-shirt yarn onto the bag base with a smaller hook. One that can go thru the hole on the base board. After one round of single crochet around the bag base, for the 2nd row, use a 8 mm hook. I used 2 color yarn, one blue t-shirt yarn and one multicolor t-shirt yarn.

The whole bag I used waistcoat single crochet where I place the hook into the 'v' shape. Check out the tutorial video for better understanding. The tapestry pattern is just some simple pattern I created myself. You can refer to the video to view the pattern.

As for the bag strap, I made 3 bag cord and braid it and sew it to the side of the bag. Bag cord tutorial video below :

Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make. The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail. Crochet Flower Bag

This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn. I made this for a toddler, so the bag strap is short. The tutorial video : Flower Bag 1) Start with a magic ring, chain 2, make 15 double crochet (dc) into the ring. 2) Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) . 3) Chain 2, (dc, dc inc) - repeat until the end, cut the yarn. 4) Change color. Chain 1, (sc next 2, skip 2, 5 dc in the same stitch, skip 2, sc next 2, skip 2) - repeat until the end. End with a slip stitch. 5) Chain 1, (half double crochet (hdc) in the next, dc in the next, dc inc - 3 sets, dc, hdc) - this makes 1 petal, so now repeat until the end and you will get 6 petals. 6) Chain 1, [ hdc, dc, (dc inc, dc) - 3 sets, dc, hdc ] - repeat until the end. 7) Chain 1, [ hdc, dc, (dc inc, dc, dc inc) - 3 sets, dc, hdc ] - repeat until the end Make 2 of the abo...

Crochet Amigurumi Microphone

This is a simple microphone, made using cotton yarn and some stuffing. Very easy to make. Takes you only about an hour to make 1, even for beginners. The tutorial video : Microphone (use grey yarn) 1) Make a magic ring. Do 10 single crochet into the ring [total 10] 2) - 5) Do single crochet all around [total 10] 6) Do a decrease (2 together), 5 times [total5] 7) - 9) Single crochet all around [total 5] Leave a long tail to sew it to your amigurumi. Now use a black yarn and sew few lines, like above (or refer to tutorial video) to make it look like a microphone. Hope you find this pattern interesting.
