A Simple Sleeveless Top, Crochet

This pattern I used cotton yarn. You can use a multicolor yarn or 2 different color yarn or maybe just one color. I used a 5 mm hook since I am using 5 ply cotton yarn.

I start with a chain 180, that is from the front panel all the way to the back panel. The 2nd row, chain 2, do a double crochet (dc) on the 4th chain from the hook. Chain 2 and do a dc in the same stitch. Skip 2 and do a dc on the next and chain 2 follow by a dc on the same stitch. Repeat until the end.

Once on the next row, chain 3 and do a dc in the chain space, chain 2 and dc in the same chain space. Do dc in the next chain space, chain 2 and dc in the same. Repeat until the end. Build a few more rows, until it can cover half of your body.

By now fold the piece in half and see where you neck line should be. Use a maker to mark how wide you want the neck line to be. When you crochet up to this point, just do chain stitch up to the next marker. Now continue the pattern until the end of the row.

The following row, build the pattern like above, repeat until the neckline, build the pattern like when it was on the foundation chain. Once you get to the width that you want sew the sides and the top is ready.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. The tutorial video : The Core Part (use yellow yarn) 1) Chain 9, do 3 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next, slip stitch (ss) until the end, which you will have 6 ss all in. Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make. The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail. Crochet Amigurumi Microphone

This is a simple microphone, made using cotton yarn and some stuffing. Very easy to make. Takes you only about an hour to make 1, even for beginners. The tutorial video : Microphone (use grey yarn) 1) Make a magic ring. Do 10 single crochet into the ring [total 10] 2) - 5) Do single crochet all around [total 10] 6) Do a decrease (2 together), 5 times [total5] 7) - 9) Single crochet all around [total 5] Leave a long tail to sew it to your amigurumi. Now use a black yarn and sew few lines, like above (or refer to tutorial video) to make it look like a microphone. Hope you find this pattern interesting.
