Crochet Pot On Swing Series # 2 - Potted Plant, On Swing

 This post is about the plant. The pattern for the pot is in the earlier post. 


The tutorial video : 


Plant Pattern

For short plant, chain 10. Go to the 2nd stitch from the hook and do single crochet all the way util the end of the row. Leave a bit of tail and cut the yarn. Tie the 2 end to the soil.


Soil Pattern

1) Start with a magic circle / ring. Do 6 single crochet (sc) in the ring.      [total 6]

2) Do 2 sc (inc) in each stitch     [total 12]

3) (Sc, inc) - 6X     [total 18]

Leave a long tail for sewing and cut yarn.

 This pattern is lovely on kopiah or some called it songkok or peci or cap. It is easy to crochet and you can make it in just a few hours.  Below is the tutorial video. Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Valentine Couple Cats

 This pair of cats are made using cotton yarn and a 3.5 mm hook. You will need some stuffing and a safety nose. If you do not have any, you can sew the nose with some yarn. It stands at 11 inches tall and about 4 inches wide.
