Irish Flower (Wireless Crochet Flower)

Flower

1) Magic ring. 8 sc. [total 8]

2) Work only on the front loop. Sc on the front loop, chain 6, 5 ss on the bump side, sc in the next. This makes 1 set. Do 8 sets.

3) Work only on the remaining back loop. Do 2 sc in each stitch. [total 16]

4) Sc on the gap between 2) and 3). Chain 5, sc in the next. This makes 1 set. Do 8 sets.

5) Sc in the chain 5 space and do hdc, dc, 2 tc, dc, hdc, sc. Do 8 sets.

6) Work on the front loop only. Chain 11, ss on the bump side, the next 10 stitches. (Refer to video)

Ss next 3, sc next 2, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, ss (reach the tip), chain 2, ss, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc next 2, ss next 3.

Ss next 2 front loop. This makes 1 sets. Do 8 sets.

7) Work on the back loop only. Sc all around. [total 16]

8) Ss, chain 15, ss next 14 n the bump side. (Refer video) Ss next 7, sc next 2, hdc, dc, hdc, sc, ss (reach the tip), chain 2, ss, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc next 2, ss next 7, ss next stitch.

9) Chain 19, ss next 18 on the hump side. Ss next stitch, repeat 8) and ss to the next.

10) Chain 16, ss next 15 on the hump side, Ss next stitch, reapeat 8) and ss to the next.

Repeat 9) and 10) until the end of the row. Should have 4 sets each.

Sepal

1) Magic ring. 6 sc [total 6]

2) - 5) Sc [total 6]

6) (Sc, inc) - 6X [total 9]

7) - 8) Sc [total 9]

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. The tutorial video : The Core Part (use yellow yarn) 1) Chain 9, do 3 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next, slip stitch (ss) until the end, which you will have 6 ss all in. Chain 9 and repeat the whole thing, all in 8 sets. 2) Chain 10, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 7 ss. Make 9 sets. 3) Chain 11, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 8 ss. Make 10 sets. 4) Chain 1, do sc on the next 27 stitches on the base. 5) Chain 1, turn the work, [sc in the next 2, do a 2 together (dec)] - 6 sets,

Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make. The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail. Mooncake

Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video : Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sl st to join to the 1st st. 5) Ch 3, 1 sc on top of the sc in the previous row (skip all the puff st). Sl st to join to the 1st st. 6) Ch 1, [ 5 double crochet (dc) in the ch3 space, 1 sc to the top of the sc in previous row) 8 times. 7) Sc all around the back loop. All in 48 sc. 8) - 11) Sc all around. 48 sc in each row. Cut yarn. The Bottom Part 1) Magic ring, 8 sc in ring (total 8) 2) 2 sc in 1 stitch (increase) 8 times (total 16) 3) [ sc, inc ] 8 times (total 24) 4) [ sc in next 2, inc ] 8 times (total 32) 5) [ Skip 1, 5 dc in next, skip 1, 1 sc in the next ] total
