Rafflesia Tote Bag


1) Chain 5, joint to the 1st stitch with a slip stitch. Chain 2 (this count as a dc), 2 dc into ring, chain 2, 

(3 dc into ring chain 2) - 5X and end with ss to 1st stitch. All in 6 sets. 1 set makes 1 petal.  

2) Chain 2, fpdc inc on the 1st stitch, fpdc in the next, fpdc in the last stitch. Change color (optional), dc in the chain 2 space, chain 2, dc in the same chain 2 space. Repeat until the end of the row and ss to 1st stitch. 

3) Change to flower color, (optional). Chain 2, fpdc inc on the 1st petal stitch, fpdc in the next 3, fpdc inc in the last petal stitch. Change color (optional). Bpdc in the next, dcin the chain 2 space, chain 2, dc in the same chain 2 space, bpdc in the next. Repeat in the same manner until the end of the row.

*To increase the size of the petal, do fpdc inc on the 1st and last stitch of the petal.

*To decrease the size of the petal, do fpdc dec on the 1st 2 stitches and the last 2 stitches.

Repeat in this manner until you come to the size you desire.

Mooncake

  Crochet moon cake. You will need cotton yarn, a 3 mm hook and some stuffing. The tutorial video :  Mooncake 1) Magic ring, 8 single crochet (sc) into ring 2) Work only on the front loop : [ 1 slip stitch (sl st), chain (ch) 6 ] 8 times. Get 8 petals. 3) Work only on the back loop : [ 1 sc, ch2 ] all around and sl st to the join the 1st stitch. 4) Ch 1, [ch2, 3 puff st to the ch2 space, ch 2, 1 sc to the next] 8 times. Sponge Bob Square Bag

 This is a tapestry bag. A simple square bag make using cotton yarn. In order to make the Sponge Bob look realistic,  I follow the color of a poster I found online. I can't remember the name of the blue or the yellow etc. Just use my eyes to see which blue matches the blue in the character.  The tutorial video :  The poster that I got from the internet look like this :  Abbreviation : G = green   W = white   R = red   M = Maroon   Bk = black   B = blue   P = pink   Y = yellow The blue that use on the side and the back panel is of a different blue from the above.  I start with a row of the other blue (a lighter blue). This blue row is a chain of 49. The whole bag is just single crochet. The 2nd row onwards is the Sponge Bob color, as in when to change to which color.
