Cotton Flower


Cotton Flower - Small 
1) Magic ring. Chain 1, do a puff stitch with yarn over 3 times before you put thru all. Chain 2 and ss to magic ring. This makes 1 petal. Do 4 petals.

Sepal - type 1
1) Magic ring. 6 sc into the ring.     [total 6] 
2) Inc - 6X     [total 12]
3) (Sc, inc) - 6X     [total 18]
4) (Sc 2, inc) - 6X     [total 24]
5) Sc 6     [total 6] 
6) Turn the work. Skip 1, sc next 3, dec    [total 4]
7) Skip 1, sc , dec     [total 2]
8) Dec, chain 2, leave a bit of tail before cutting     [total 1]
5) - 8) makes 1 part, all in do 4

Below is the written pattern : 

Small Flower 
1) Magic ring. Chain 2, 3dc into the ring, chain 2, ss into the ring. This makes 1 petal. You can choose to make 3, 4 or 5 petals.
2) Change to a darker color. Start from magic ring, chain 3, ss to the earlier chain 2, chain 3, tc inc next 3, chain 3, ss to the previous chain 2, chain 2 and ss to the magic ring. Continue with all the petals.

Tiny Top Hat

 This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make.  The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail.  Hope you make lovely hats for your amigurumi. Crochet Amigurumi Microphone

 This is a simple microphone, made using cotton yarn and some stuffing. Very easy to make. Takes you only about an hour to make 1, even for beginners. The tutorial video :  Microphone (use grey yarn) 1) Make a magic ring. Do 10 single crochet into the ring     [total 10] 2) - 5) Do single crochet all around     [total 10] 6) Do a decrease (2 together), 5 times     [total5] 7) - 9) Single crochet all around     [total 5] Leave a long tail to sew it to your amigurumi. Now use a black yarn and sew few lines, like above (or refer to tutorial video) to make it look like a microphone.  Hope you find this pattern interesting.
