Crochet Flower Earring

I use fine lace yarn, like sewing thread size and a 2 mm hook. It is a very simple to do pattern. You can make a pair of earring in less than an hour. Best use a dual color thread / yarn.

Flower Pattern

1) Make a magic ring / circle. Chain 2 (count as a double crochet), chain 3, double crochet (dc) into the ring. This makes 1 petal. (Chain 3 and dc into the ring) - repeat 7X. All in 8 petals. The last chain 3, slip stitch to the top of the chain 2.

2) Chain 3, skip 3 and dc on top of the previous dc. Chain 2, turn the work, do 4 dc into that chain 3 space that we just did. Do 5 dc on the nearest dc and joint to the chain 2 with a slip stich. this makes 1 complete petal. Now repeat until the last petal

For better understanding, watch the tutorial video above. When the flower is complete, you can add a pearl earring or any other suitable small earring in the middle and you will have a lovely pair of flower earring.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make. The tutorial video : Top Hat 1) Magic ring with 6 single crochet (sc) into ring [total 6] 2) 2 sc in each, all around [total 12] 3) (Sc in next 3, 2 sc in next stitch) repeat all around [total 15] 4) Sc all around (only on back loop) [total 15] 5) - 8) Sc all around [total 15] 9) 2 sc in each stitch, all around the front loop only [total 30] You can cut yarn now, either you leave a long tail for sewing or weave in the tail. Special Kopiah / Songkok / Peci / Cap

This pattern is lovely on kopiah or some called it songkok or peci or cap. It is easy to crochet and you can make it in just a few hours. Below is the tutorial video. Kopiah 1) make a magic ring, chain 2, 12 double crochet (dc) in magic ring and seal it with a slip stitch (sl st). 2) chain (ch) 2, 2 dc in each, sl st (total 24 stitches) 3) ch 2, (2dc, dc) repeat till the end, sl st (total 36 stitches) 4) ch 2, (2dc, dc in next 2) repaet till the end, sl st (total 48 stitches) 5) ch 2, (2dc, dc in next 3) repeat till the end, sl st (total 60 stitches) 6) ch 2, (2dc dc in next 4) repeat till the end, sl st (total 72 stitces) Repeat in the same manner until you get the size you want.
