Dream Catcher With Heart Shape Leaf Earrings

This is a dream catcher earrings with a heart shape leaf dangling at the bottom, instead of feathers. I crochet with a 2 mm hook and thread. You will also need a pair of round earrings.

The tutorial video :

Dream Catcher Pattern

1) Start with a magic circle / ring. Chain 2, do 15 double crochet into the ring.

2) Do single crochet all around with the earring metal in it. Leave the last 2 or 3 stitch out.

3) Chain 2, turn the work, single in the next, chain 2 and single in the next. Repeat until you fill up all the sides of the earring. Chain 1, pull tight and cut yarn.

Heart Shape Leaf

1) Start with a magic ring. Chain 2. Do 6 double crochet cluster on one side. First put thru 1, then put thru 2 by 2 until there is only 1 yarn on the hook.

2) The do 6 double crochet cluster on the other side of the ring. Once done, pull the tail of the magic ring (not too tight) and you will get a heart shape leaf.

Leave a long tail and sew it to the bottom of the dream catcher earring. You can also add a pearl or two when joining the leaf to the earring. Refer to video for better understanding.

Hope you have fun making some of these earrings.

Peony Flower

This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower. The tutorial video :   The Core Part (use yellow yarn) 1) Chain 9, do 3 single crochet (sc) in the 2nd stitch from the hook, sc in the next, slip stitch (ss) until the end, which you will have 6 ss all in. Chain 9 and repeat the whole thing, all in 8 sets. 2) Chain 10, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 7 ss. Make 9 sets. 3) Chain 11, 3 sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook. Sc in the next and ss in the following stitches until the end of the chain, all in 8 ss. Make 10 sets. 4) Chain 1, do sc on the next 27 stitches on the base. 5) Chain 1, turn the work, [sc in the next 2, do a 2 together (de...

Crochet Amigurumi Microphone

This is a simple microphone, made using cotton yarn and some stuffing. Very easy to make. Takes you only about an hour to make 1, even for beginners. Do 10 single crochet into the ring     [total 10] 2) - 5) Do single crochet all around     [total 10] 6) Do a decrease (2 together), 5 times     [total5] 7) - 9) Single crochet all around     [total 5] Leave a long tail to sew it to your amigurumi.
