These easter eggs are quite big. I used cotton yarn. One of it, I intend to make it polka dot but it turns out like patch work and the other, has lines of colors. The pattern given is for the egg. As for how to change color or when to change color, you can refer to the tutorial video. I normally change color as at when I feel like it and not really count my stitches as to when I should change color, I mean for these eggs. As for the ribbon bow, it is in another post.

Egg Pattern
1) Start with a magic ring / circle. Make 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring. [total 6]
2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc) [total 12]
3) (Sc, inc) - 6X [total 18]
4) (Sc next 5, inc) - 3X [total 21]
5) ( Sc next 3, inc, sc next 3) - 3X [total 24]
6) (Sc next 7, inc) - 3X [total 27]
7) (Sc next 4, inc, sc next 4) - 3X [total 30]
8) (Sc next 9, inc) - 3X [total 33]
9) (Sc next 5, inc, sc next 5) - 3X [total 36]
10) ( Sc next 11, inc) - 3X [total 39]
11) - 16) Sc all around [total 39]
17) ( Sc next 11, do 2 together (dec)) - 3X [total 36]
18) (Sc next 4, dec) - 6X [total 30]
19) Sc next 3, dec) - 6X [total 24]
20) (Sc next 2, dec) - 6X [total 18]
21) (Sc, dec) - 6X [total 12]

Leave a bit of tail, cut yarn and use a tapestry needle and sew on all the 6 front loop and pull to seal.
