Daisy Purse, Crochet

This is a simple purse with kiss lock. I used 3 ply cotton yarn and a 2.5 mm hook. You can use other type of yarn and hook size too but the size will turn out to be a bit different. After making the purse, I sew daisy on the purse. The daisy pattern is in the earlier post. You can sew other flowers too. It will still look nice without the flowers. The tutorial video :  Purse Pattern 1) Start with a magic circle / ring. Do 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring     [total 6] 2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc)     [total 12] 3) (Sc, inc) - 6X     [total 18] 4) (Sc next 2, inc) - 6X     [total 24] 5) (Inc, sc next 3) - 6X     [total 30] 6) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) - 6X     [total 36] 7) (Sc next 5, inc) - 6X     [total 42] 8) (Sc next 3, inc, sc next 3) - 6X      [total 48] Open up the kiss lock, open wide and measure it on the crochet piece. If the diameter is the same, for me I stop here at row 8. If you are using a different yarn, you might need to do a few more rows or even less row.

Simple Daisy Flower, Crochet

I made the daisy in 3 sizes. This is a simple version. Super easy to do. I used 3 ply cotton yarn with a 2.5 mm hook. You can use other type of yarn and hook size too.  The tutorial video :  Big Flower Pattern 1) Start with yellow. Make a magic circle / ring and do 12 single crochet into the ring. Slip stitch to the 1st stitch, chain 1 and pull tight. Cut yarn and hide the tail in between all the single crochet. 2) Use another color for petal. Start with a single crochet on the core of the flower. Chain 10, then slip stitch in the next stitch on the core of the flower. Repeat all around until the last petal meet the 1st. Medium Flower Pattern 1) Start with yellow. Make a magic circle / ring and do 10 single crochet into the ring. Slip stitch to the 1st stitch, chain 1 and pull tight. Cut yarn and hide the tail in between all the single crochet. 2) Use another color for petal. Start with a single crochet on the core of the flower. Chain 8, then slip stitch in the next stitch on the cor

Socks For Chairs And Tables

I used cotton yarn for this project. It is a bit stretchable and easy to put it on the leg of the chair or table. The diameter depend on the size of the leg of your furniture. You can use just about any type of yarn and hook size.  The tutorial video :  Sock Pattern 1) Start with a magic circle / ring. Do 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring. 2) Do 2 single crochet into each stitch (inc). 3) (Sc, inc) - 6X If you need a bigger circle, continue to do increase row until you have the size that you want. 4) Do sc only on the back loop. 5) Do sc all around for few rows until you come to the height that you want. I add string of leaf on the top part to make it look like they are potted plants. Those string of leaf, the pattern is in the other post.  Hope you like this pattern and the tutorial video. String Of Heart Shape Leaf

These are heart shape leaf, crochet in a string or row. You can turn it into a curtain holder, hairband or even a wristband.  The tutorial video ;  Leaf Pattern Start with a chain 5. Do 2 double crochet cluster onto the 1st stitch. Chain 2. Do 6 incomplete double crochet on the right double crochet of the earlier double crochet cluster. Now you have 7 yarn on your hook, put thru 1, then put thru 2 by 2 until you have 2 more yarn on the hook. Remove the hook and turn the work around and insert the hook. (Refer to the tutorial video for better understanding) Now do the same to the left double crochet from the earlier double crochet cluster. Chain 2 and slip stitch to the back, to the chain 2 space. (Refer to video) This complete 1 leaf. Now to build the next leaf, chain 5 and do 2 double crochet cluster on the chain 5 space and repeat the above to form the 2nd leaf. You can go on and on until you come to the length that you want. Hope you like this pattern and the tutorial video. The vi
