Daisy Purse, Crochet

This is a simple purse with kiss lock. I used 3 ply cotton yarn and a 2.5 mm hook. You can use other type of yarn and hook size too but the size will turn out to be a bit different. After making the purse, I sew daisy on the purse. The daisy pattern is in the earlier post. You can sew other flowers too. It will still look nice without the flowers.

Purse Pattern

1) Start with a magic circle / ring. Do 6 single crochet (sc) into the ring [total 6]

2) Do 2 sc into each stitch (inc) [total 12]

3) (Sc, inc) - 6X [total 18]

4) (Sc next 2, inc) - 6X [total 24]

5) (Inc, sc next 3) - 6X [total 30]

6) (Sc next 2, inc, sc next 2) - 6X [total 36]

7) (Sc next 5, inc) - 6X [total 42]

8) (Sc next 3, inc, sc next 3) - 6X [total 48]

Open up the kiss lock, open wide and measure it on the crochet piece. If the diameter is the same, for me I stop here at row 8. If you are using a different yarn, you might need to do a few more rows or even less row.

9) Start to do sc all around with no increase until you come to the length that you want.

10) Sew the kiss lock to the crochet piece.

11) I sew daisy all around the purse. (refer to the tutorial video for guidance)

Tiny Top Hat

This Top Hat is tiny enough for my amigurumi. Preferable black in color but for tutorial video sake, I did a brown one too. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. It is very easy to make. Crochet Flower Bag

This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn. I made this for a toddler, so the bag strap is short. The tutorial video : Flower Bag 1) Start with a magic ring, chain 2, make 15 double crochet (dc) into the ring. 2) Chain 2, 2 dc in each stitch (dc inc) . 3) Chain 2, (dc, dc inc) - repeat until the end, cut the yarn. 4) Change color. Crochet Mooncake

This is my second crochet mooncake. This pattern is different from my first crochet mooncake. I made two version. One with lace yarn and a 2 mm hook and another with cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. The lace yarn mooncake is smaller than the cotton yarn mooncake due to the size of the yarn and hook yet both are equally lovely and look quite like the real thing.
