Simple Dinner Bag in bean stitch

 This is a simple dinner bag made using p olypropylene yarn. You can also use nylon or cotton yarn too, if you wish. I added a plastic canvas and covered it with linen inside. It is a simple hand carry dinner bag. You can make it bigger or smaller so long the rule is the number or foundation chain is in the multiple of 4 plus 3. The tutorial video : Make a foundation chain up to the length that you want, which has to be in a multiple of 4 and then add 3 more chain. I did chain 28 plus 3. Then yarn over and do a double crochet on the 5th chain from hook. Yarn over into the space created with the double crochet. Yarn over 3 times and leave it on the hook, pull thru all to create one bean stitch.  Skip one stitch from the foundation chain and yarn over and do another double crochet. Do another double crochet on the next stitch. Do a bean stitch inside the space between the 2 double crochet. Continue the same manner until the end.  For a new row, chain 3 and turn and do the same manner to

Flat Ear Bunny

 This is a bunny with flat ears. If you do not want to change colour, you can just follow the written pattern and make a one colour bunny with flat ears. Made these with a 3.5 mm hook and 5 ply cotton yarn. It can sit on it's own. The legs were sew on later. The body and head were crochet together. Later only attached the legs and arms.  The tutorial video : The written pattern. Body/Head 1) Magic Ring, 10 single crochet (sc) in ring (10 stitches) 2) 2 sc (inc) in each stitch (20 stitches) 3) sc in each stitch around (20 stitches) 4) (inc,   sc in next), repeat around (30 stitches) This is where I change colour – for the skirt 5) -11) sc in each stitch around (30 stitches) 12) [do a 2 together (dec), sc in next 4] repeat around (25 stitches) 13) sc in each stitch around (25 stitches) 14) [dec,   sc in next 3] repeat around (20 stitches) 15) sc in each stitch around (20 stitches) 16) [dec, sc in next 2] repeat around (15 stitches) 17) sc in each stitch around (15 stitches

3-D Leaf Beret

 This beret has 3-D leaf on it but because I used 3 colour yarn, it is not so obvious. If you use just one colour yarn, it would look obvious. It is very easy to do and it is all about back post and front post.  The tutorial video. I used cotton yarn and a 4.5 mm hook. Start by making a magic ring. Chain 3 (this will count as a double crochet (dc)) and do a double crochet (dc). Then chain 1 and make a 2nd dc inside the ring. This 2 dc and chain 1 is one set. I made 6 sets all together. One set for one leaf. If you decided to make only 5 leaf, then do 5 sets. End with a slip stitch to the next stitch. Row 2 - Do one more slip stitch so that we start on the chain 1 space. Chain 3 (count as a dc) and chain 1 (for space), do a dc. Do a back post on the following 2 dc chain. So there is an increase on the leave part (we are building the leaf on the chain 1 space) but the back post part, no increase. End with a slip stitch to the top of the chain 3. Row 3 - Do a front post on the following 2

Two Colour Bear Amigurumi

 I made a boy bear and a girl bear in two colours. The girl bear I added eye lashes and a wooden flower button as for the boy bear I added a button on it's chest. Manage to get hold of some lovely wooden button in the shape of flowers and butterflies and some just plain round with the word "hand made" on it. I used a 3.5 mm hook and 5 ply cotton yarn.  The tutorial video  The leg and body 1) magic ring (leave a long tail for sewing / closing the gap between the 2 legs, refer tutorial video), 5 single crochet (sc) into ring (total 5 stitches) 2) 2 sc in one (increase) all around (total 10) 3) [sc, increase (inc)] x 5 (total 15) 4) sc all around (total 15) 5) do one more leg and joint the two legs together with a sc, (sc in next 4, inc) x 6 (total 36) 6) sc all around (total 36) 7) sc in the next 14, {change colour (cc)} sc in the next 7,  {cc} sc in the next 15 (total 36) 8) sc in the next 13, {cc} sc in the next 9, {cc} sc in the next 14 (total 36) 9) sc in the next 12, {

Amigurumi - Ice-cream

 You can called it amigurumi or plush toys or even squishy toys. I called it crochet. This is easy to make, even for beginners. The cone, I used "khaki" colour and as for the ice-cream part, you can used what ever left over yarn you have that makes it look like ice-cream of some sort. I used a 4 mm hook when I use a 5 ply cotton yarn and a 2.5 mm hook for the 3 ply yarn.  This is the tutorial video :  Cone 1) magic ring, 4 single crochet (sc) into ring (total 4 stitches) 2) [do a 2 sc into 1 stitch (inc), sc in the next] (total 6 stitches) 3) sc all around ( total 6) 4) [inc, sc] (total 9) 5) sc all around (total 9) 6) [inc, sc in next 2] (total 12) 7) sc all around (total 12) 8) [inc, sc in next 3] (total 15) 9) sc all around (total 15) 10) [inc, sc in next 4] (total 18) 11) sc all around (total 18) 12) [inc, sc in next 5] (total 21) 13) sc all around (total 21) 14) [inc, sc in next 6] (total 24) 15) sc all around (total 24) end with a slip stitch in the next and leave a lo
