Tiny Carrot

This carrot was made specially for my amigurumi. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. If you are using a 3 ply cotton yarn or silk yarn, then use 2 mm hook or lower and your carrot will be even smaller than this.  Start with a magic ring and make 6 single crochet into ring. Then it is single crochet all around for 2 to 3 rows depending how long you want the carrot to be. The following row, skip 1 stitch and single crochet all around. The next row, do the same, skip one stitch and single crochet all around until the row you only have 3 stitches left. Or until the end is pointed like a carrot. As for the green part, Slip stitch at the top anywhere and chain 2 or 3 depending how long you want the leaf to be. Then slip stitch to the 1st chain and again slip stitch to the carrot. Do 2 or 3 leaf.  The tutorial video :  Remember to subscribe to my  Youtube  channel and do follow me on  Facebook ,  Shopee ,  Tiktok  and  Instagram . Thank you for your support.

All in 22 single crochet in this row. 2) Chain 1, turn the work and continue to do single crochet all around. You should have 58 stitches all around (22 single crochet on each side of the length and 7 single crochet on each side of the width). End with a slip stitch. 4) Chain 1, half double crochet (on back loop) all around. All in 58 stitches. 5) Chain 1, half double crochet all around for 6 rows the

Baby Sonic The Hedgehog

This is my version of baby Sonic the hedgehog. The back of the hedgehog are loop stitches. First I made the hedgehog. Then I made a wig like loop stitches and sew it to it's back. As for the mini sunflower, you can refer to my other post and video, under "Mini Sunflower".  I used a 3.5 mm hook and cotton yarn. Mini Sunflower

This is a mini sunflower, made specially for my amigurumi. I used 3 ply yarn and a 2 mm hook. The pattern is very easy and you can make one in no time.  The tutorial video :  The pattern is, for the core part of the flower, the brown part, start by making a magic ring and make 6 single crochet in it. Row 2, do 2 single crochet in each stitch and that's it. You can end it either by making a slip stitch to the next or just continue with the yellow yarn. For the petal, I used yellow yarn. The pattern is chain 2, do a double crochet in the same stitch and then chain 1. The chain 1, do a slip stitch to the top of the double crochet. Do a double crochet to the next stitch. Chain 2 and slip stitch to the same stitch. This is one petal. All in will have 6 petals. The green part (optional), start by making a magic ring and make 6 single crochet into the ring. In the next row, do 2 single crochet in each stitch. The last row, chain 2 and slip stitch to the next. Continue in this manner unti

Clutch Bag - Hobeycomb Stitch

This is a clutch bag. You can add a strap if you want to and turn it into a handbag. I used a 3.5 mm hook and polypropylene yarn. I added a plastic canvas to hold it's shape and a cloth linen to cover up the plastic canvas. You can use other type of yarn too.  This is the tutorial video : To start, make a chain in multiple of 2 and at the end, add 1 more chain. Once you have come to the length that you want, count the number of stitches that you had made, minus the additional 1 and make sure every row you maintain the same number of stitches.  The complete piece will be a rectangle and I am working on the width and work upwards to form a rectangle. So the length is for the width of the rectangular.  After the foundation chain, do a single crochet on the 2nd chain from the hook. Do it on the bump side of the chain. Continue to do single crochet for all until the end of the row. Chain 1, turn your work and do single crochet again for all until the end of the row. Means that we will

Small Roses

Sometime we do need to make small flowers for our amigurumi or bag or baby shoes or even head band. So here I have some small roses.  The tutorial video :  The foundation chain should be in multiple of 10 and a plus 1. The smallest flower would be chain 10 + 1. For the medium size rose, you can try chain 20 + 1 and for a large rose, you can go for a chain 50 +1. After the foundation chain, do a single crochet on the 2nd stitch from hook. Chain 2 and skip one stitch. Do a single crochet on the following stitch. So it is a sc and skip and sc and skip all the way until the end of the row. Next row, chain 2, turn the work, do a slip stitch into the chain 2 space. Chain 1, do 4 double crochet into the same space follow by a chain 1 and slip stitch into the same space. That makes one petal. Now slip stitch into the next chain 2 space and do a slip stitch and repeat the above to make another petal.  Hope you enjoy making roses.
