Auntie Nat's Crochet (Free Crochet Pattern)

 This doll is 7 inches tall. I used cotton yarn and a 3 mm hook. If you use a bigger hook, the doll will be slightly taller and bigger. I used safety eye and some fiber fillings.  This is actually a combination of many flowers combined together to form this lovely poncho. You can also use this same method to create a table runner or a blanket throw. The written pattern below is for one flower. I connect flower to flower by the tip of the petal.  The tutorial video :  Flower Core (yellow) 1) Start by making a magic ring. Chain 1, make 8 single crochet (sc) into the ring and joint with a slip stitch. 2) Slip stitch into the next front loop. Chain 3 and make a picot (slip stitch to the same part where we slip stitch). Repeat until you have 8 picot. The last picot, chain 1, pull tight and cut yarn.  Flower Petal (white or pink or any color that you prefer) 1) Now work on the back loop. (The balance back loop from the above picot). Make a knot and chain 13 into the back loop. Start to work from the 2nd stitch from hook, do a single crochet.  This is a simple pouch with 2 compartment, made using t-shirt yarn and a 6 mm hook. I added a zip on the top. I made one to match my ribbed bag / shell bag (from my previous post). I start by making a foundation chain of 16 stitches. The length and width is up to you. Starting from the 2nd chain from hook I did single crochet all the way till the end. Chain 1, turn the work. From here on, work only on the back loop. Do single crochet until the end. Repeat until you have the length that you want. Fold it in two but make sure one side is shorter than the other. At the part where we fold ( the shorter side ) start to crochet the same pattern until it is the same length as the longer side. Use a tapestry needle and sew both sides, sew a zip on top and we have a pouch.  Some called it ribbed bag some, shell bag. You can customize one. I used multi color t-shirt yarn and a 6 mm hook. Besides t-shirt yarn, you can use nylon yarn or ribbon yarn or maybe cotton yarn too. This time round I used a plastic bag handle instead. The tutorial video :  1) I started with a chain 24. You can start with a lesser or more chain to make the bag bigger or smaller.  This is a big flower compare to the other crochet flowers. You will need cotton yarn, wire and some flower making green tape. I also added a chop stick, or you can use any wood or metal, to hold the flower as it is quite heavy with so many petals and wire. I used 3 different colors for the whole flower.  This is a simple horizontal star stitch handphone bag. Made it in 3 colors. The front and the back has different colors. It has 2 compartments. Just crochet star stitch into a rectangle piece and sew the sides together and will have a handphone bag.  This is a simple flower bag made using 2 strand of yarn. It is optional, you can use 1 strand instead. I used a 4 mm hook, since it is a 2 strand yarn.
